Steven Fletcher has sometimes been called a “human jukebox”—a reflection of both his deep catalog of familiar songs and his ability to find the right music for the moment.

A Seattle-based singer, guitarist, and solo performer, Steven draws from hundreds of songs spanning six decades. His performances can move naturally from intimate acoustic music to audience requests, creative live looping, and the energy of a full-band sound. The format may change, but the foundation remains the same: expressive vocals, distinctive guitar playing, and a genuine connection with the audience.

Nearly two decades fronting The Dogtones, one of Seattle’s hardest-working cover bands, has helped shape Steven into an unusually adaptable performer. Thousands of live shows have taught him how to read an audience, follow the energy of an event, and recognize when the music should remain comfortably in the background—or when it is time to give people something bigger.

That experience also distinguishes Steven from a typical solo acoustic act. His fingerstyle guitar playing brings texture and movement to quieter songs, while years spent singing and playing lead guitar in a power trio allow him to step forward with confidence when the music becomes more energetic. Live looping, percussion, layered vocals, and professionally arranged accompaniment give him additional colors to draw from without sacrificing the spontaneity and human immediacy of a live performance.

Steven’s career has included performances across the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, and South Korea. He has performed in settings ranging from intimate gatherings and winery tastings to hotels, restaurants, corporate events, weddings, private celebrations, and lively full-band venues.

Outside of live performance, Steven is also a songwriter and recording artist. His original music has been featured in television, film, and sporting broadcasts, reflecting another side of a musical life built around curiosity, versatility, and a lasting love of a great song.
